JONESBORO – The top 2021-22 graduating students in University College at Arkansas State University were honored during Convocation of Scholars, according to Dr. Jill Simons, dean.

The Chancellor Scholar Award for the highest overall grade-point average in the college was presented to Kiley Rodrigues of Kingston, Ontario, who is completing a Bachelor of General Studies degree.

Brittany Kunkel of Poughkeepsie was recognized as the nontraditional studies departmental scholar. She is completing a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies.

University College offers the interdisciplinary studies major to those seeking the flexibility to select a course of study from a wide array of disciplines.

Convocation of Scholars continues at Arkansas State University through April.
