JONESBORO, Ark. (3/18/25) – Arkansas State men’s basketball senior guard Taryn Todd added another award to his lengthy honors list on Tuesday, being named Second Team All-Southeast District, as voted on by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) member coaches.
The First Team All-Sun Belt Conference performer leads the Red Wolves in scoring (14.6) and has scored 10-plus in 27 of 34 games this season. Todd is one of just three players nationally to have recorded at least 495 points, 55 3-pointers, 150 rebounds, 105 assists, 40 steals and 20 blocks this season.
Todd is A-State’s second All-District selection in as many seasons after Caleb Fields earned the honor a season ago. The Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, native is one of just two players from the Sun Belt to earn all-district distinction this season.
He is one of just two players in the league to be named an Oscar Robertson Award National Player of the Week this season, joining teammate Izaiyah Nelson.
