EUGENE, Ore. (6/6/24) – Arkansas State track and field’s Selase Sampram placed 21st in the women’s shot put on Thursday in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Hayward Field.
The junior standout hurled 15.43m (50-7.5) on her final throw for her best mark of the day, and her 21st-place finish resulted in Honorable Mention All-American laurels.
Sampram was A-State’s first athlete in the women’s shot put at the national championship meet since 2017.
