JONESBORO, Ark. (3/19/25) – Arkansas State men’s basketball’s matchup for the second round of the National Invitation Tournament has been set, with the third-seeded Red Wolves traveling to second-seeded North Texas Sunday.

Tip-off for A-State’s (25-10) contest against the Mean Green (25-8) is set for 6 p.m. CT inside The Super Pit in Denton and the game will be broadcasted live on ESPNU. It will mark the Red Wolves’ seventh nationally-televised bout of the season.

Tickets are $29 each and will go on sale through the A-State Ticket Office beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting or contacting the First National Bank Arena box office at (870) 972-2781, and digital tickets will be sent via text message or email prior to game day. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting AStateRedWolves.com/tickets.

A-State advanced to the second round by routing Saint Louis, 103-78, Tuesday night in Jonesboro. The win marked the second straight year in which the Scarlet and Black secured a postseason victory.

Sunday’s meeting will mark the 42nd all-time meeting between A-State and former Sun Belt counterpart North Texas, with UNT holding a 22-19 edge in the series. The teams have not met since Feb. 28, 2013, in Denton.
