POINT CLEAR, Ala. (4/15/25) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team stands ninth after 36 holes of the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Golf Championship at The Lakewood Club’s Dogwood Course.
A-State turned in a 16-over par 304 and has totaled 26-over par 602, nine shots back of South Alabama and Southern Miss for fourth and a spot in the match play portion of the championship Thursday. Georgia Southern maintains the lead at 1-over par 577 with Coastal Carolina (+8) and ULM (+9) completing the top three. The Red Wolves are among seven teams within 12 shots of fourth place after 36 holes. Georgia State (+19) and Troy (+19) are two back of South Alabama and Southern Miss while Texas State (+24) is seven back. Old Dominion (+29) is 10th while James Madison (+32), Marshall (+47) and App State (+48) round out the field.
Olivia Coit was among 14 players to go par or better Tuesday as she turned in an even-par 72. Coit enters the final round tied for 12th at 2-over par 146 (74-72), eight shots back of Momoka Ando (-6) of Southern Miss for the individual lead. Madison Tenore totaled 4-over par 76 in the second round and is tied for 30th with a total of 6-over par 150 (74-76). Morgan Beaulieu is tied for 34th at 8-over par 152 (74-78), Anne-Lea Lavoie is 52nd at 12-over par 156 (78-78) and Caroline Hughes is tied for 54th at 14-over par 158 (76-82).
Tee times for the final round begin at 8 a.m. off No. 1 and No. 10 tees. Live coverage begins at 10:30 a.m. on ESPN+ and live scoring is available on Scoreboard by Clippd. The top four teams at the completion of stroke play Wednesday advance to match play semifinals Thursday morning.
