Over 20 local and regional vendors have signed up to be apart of this years Juneteenth in Jonesboro celebration (and the list keeps growing)!
The community will have an opportunity to meet many of these businesses and non-profit organizations that are based right here in Jonesboro and abroad. Some of these organizations will be at our FREE Meet and Greet Juneteenth kick-off event at Legends BBQ and Smokehouse in Jonesboro on Thursday, June 16 from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.
The Meet and Greet will also be a Black Business Pop-up Shop, where you’ll also get the opportunity to see what local vendors have to offer, such as Your Fashion Modest, LLC, and Angie’s Professional Cleaning. Local organizations and public figures will also be there for you to get a chance to learn about how they impact your community, such as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Garrett Barnes who’s a candidate for Justice of the Peace.
We also have many more vendors who will be at the annual Juneteenth Community Fair, such as local Paparazzi vendor Foxy’s Fabulous Accessories, Al Moore Financial, and TK’s Beauty, just to name a few. Some community organizations set to show up include the Craighead County-Jonesboro Public Library, Hope Found NEA, El Centro Hispano, the Crowley’s Ridge Development Council, and the Jonesboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
The fair will also feature booths for the youth inside of the Marilyn Newsome Kids Zone, delicious food from various vendors at the Sonya Sanders Realtor ERA Doty Real Estate Food Zone, and local entertainment.
The FREE Community Fair is set for Saturday, June 18 at University Lions Park in Jonesboro starting at 2 P.M. (right after the first ever Juneteenth Parade). The deadline to reserve your booth space is June 1. Do it now by clicking on “Booth Vendor Registration” on the main Juneteenth page.
