VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (3/14/25) – Arkansas State’s Michelle Ogbemudia earned Second Team All-American honors on Friday, placing 12th in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Virginia Beach Sports Center.
After an initial toss of 20.89m (68-6.5), Ogbemudia recorded her top throw of 21.37m (70-1.5) on her second attempt.
She is A-State’s highest women’s finisher at the indoor championships since Sharika Nelvis won the 60-meter hurdles in 2014 and the 10th women’s indoor All-American performer in school history.

A-State now turns its attention to the 2025 outdoor season, which is set to begin March 20-22 at the Alumni Bulldog Relays in Starkville, Miss., and the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Miss.
