Mike Tyson is speaking out for the first time about that fight with an overzealous fan on board a taxiing plane that was caught on camera and subsequently went viral. The former undisputed heavyweight champion can be seen having an altercation with Melvin George Townsend III on April 20, 2022, after the man allegedly threw a bottle at Tyson prior to takeoff.
On his podcast, Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, Tyson made comments stating that Townsend doesn’t need to worry about him pressing charges, and he’s well aware of the possibility of him being confronted with so-called overly excited fans when he’s in public. In fact, Tyson says his wife Lakia Spencer has made it clear she believes he shouldn’t be flying on commercial planes at all.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost another key aide after parting with their global press secretary, Toya Holness. The departure is the latest of at least 12 instances of their top staff people leaving since 2018.
Holness, who has a degree in strategic PR from the University of Southern California, joined the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in October of 2020. She was promoted to oversee public relations on both sides of the Atlantic last March. She had previously been described as Meghan’s ‘shadow’, having often been seen wearing that same style of power suits and Hollywood sunglasses.
