DES MOINES, Iowa (4/25/24) – Arkansas State track and field’s Cash Kunkel moved up the program’s all-time charts in the men’s 3000-meter steeplechase on Thursday night at the prestigious Drake Relays.
The senior from Brenham, Texas, placed seventh on the blue oval with a time of 8:57.60 – seven seconds faster than his previous best and third all-time at A-State in the event.
Fellow senior Elizabeth Martin competed in the women’s steeplechase, placing 16th with a season-best time of 10:44.40.
NEXT UP
The Red Wolves return to action Friday in Des Moines, while also competing at the Warhawk Invitational (Monroe, La.) and the Music City Challenge (Nashville, Tenn.).
