STARKVILLE, Miss. (3/20/25) – Arkansas State track and field opened the outdoor season with a pair of personal bests Thursday on the first day of the Alumni Bulldog Relays.
Noa Isaia and Menachem Chen recorded the career-best throws in the men’s hammer throw. Isaia won the event with a mark of 60.50m (198-6) while Chen was ninth with a throw of 48.47m (159-0).
Chris Boyd finished 10th behind Chen, tossing the implement 45.27m (148-6), and Cameron Slavin placed 13th in his A-State outdoor debut with a mark of 39.09m (128-3).
In the women’s hammer throw, Liya Guy placed 14th with a top mark of 36.18m (118-8).
Action continues Friday in Starkville, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Mike Sanders Track Complex. The meet will conclude Saturday.
