POINT CLEAR, Ala. (4/16/25) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team finished tied for eighth at the Sun Belt Conference Championship to complete the 2024-25 season.
A-State turned in a 12-over par 300 in the final round to tie Old Dominion at 38-over par 902. Georgia Southern (+6), Coastal Carolina (+15), Southern Miss (+16) and ULM (+21) advance to match play semifinals on Thursday to determine the conference champion. South Alabama (+27), Troy (+28) and Texas State (+37) finished ahead of A-State while Georgia State (+42), James Madison (+47), Marshall (+61) and App State (+70) completed the 13-team standings.
Olivia Coit was the top finisher for the Red Wolves placing tied for 14th at 4-over par 220 (74-72-74). Madison Tenore wrapped up her tenure at A-State tied for 21st with a total of 7-over par 223 (74-76-73). Anne-Lea Lavoie (+16) tied for 47th, Morgan Beaulieu (+17) tied for 49th and Caroline Hughes (+19) tied for 55th.
A-State completes the season with a 298.59 stroke average, sixth-best in program history. It is the 10th consecutive season with a top 10 scoring average.
