JONESBORO, Ark. (5/7/24) – Arkansas State women’s basketball head coach Destinee Rogers announced Tuesday the addition of transfer guard Shaunae Brown to the 2024-25 roster.
Brown joins the Red Wolves after spending two seasons at Cal State Bakersfield, averaging 13.8 points per game along with 1.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists over that span. The Toronto, Ont., Canada native led the Roadrunners in scoring last season after averaging 14.6 points and 3.0 three-point field goals made per game.
“We are so excited to have Shaunae join the family,” Rogers said. “She is a big-time playmaker that can score on all three levels. She will make an immediate impact and the fans will love her. We can’t wait to get her to campus!”
Brown also appeared in 29 games and started in seven during her freshman season at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. She enters her first season with the Red Wolves as a senior and has one year of eligibility remaining.
