JONESBORO, Ark. (5/29/24) – Arkansas State men’s golf head coach Mike Hagen announced Wednesday that Milan Reed has joined the program for the 2024-25 season.
“I’m thrilled to add Milan to our roster for the upcoming season,” said Hagen. “Milan brings collegiate experience and is a proven winner on multiple levels. He will make an impact on our roster and we look forward to the success he will have as part of our program.”
Named Freshman of the Year for the Mid-South Conference, Reed started his collegiate career at Lindsey Wilson College (NAIA) this past season compiling a 71.88 stroke average with 16 of his 32 rounds par or better. Named to the GCAA All-Freshman Team, Reed finished inside the top-20 in nine of his 11 events, including two medalist and three runner-up finishes. He posted a low round of 65 twice and had 10 rounds in the 60s for the season.
A native of Bristol, England, Reed has been a member of the England Regional South West team since 2019. He earned four-straight Cloucestershire county championships, was the 2022 National English Collegiate Champion, the 2023 Welsh Men’s Open strokeplay champion and finished fourth at the Carris Trophy English Boys Championship in 2021.
