JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (3/3/25) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team completed the first two rounds of play Monday at the UNF Collegiate in 12th place among 16 teams after carding a combined 625 at the Jacksonville Golf and Country Club.
The Red Wolves finished the first two rounds of the tournament only one stroke behind 11th place Sam Houston and just three strokes back of ninth-place Charlotte and Lipscomb. A-State carded a first-round 318 before improving their second-round score to a 307.
Ashley Kim, who currently sits tied for 37th place among 87 players, led Arkansas State by carding a first-round 81 and a second-round 75 to register a total of 156. Kim stands just three strokes back from the top 25 individual players.
Also competing for the Red Wolves, Anne-Lea Lavoie (79-78), Madison Tenore (77-80) and Sofia Bastidas (81-76) are tied for 42nd place with totals of 157. Olivia Coit completed the first two rounds with a total of 161 while Caroline Hughes played as an individual and totaled 166 to place tied for 79th.
The UNF Collegiate will conclude on Tuesday with the third-and-final round beginning with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. (ET). Live scoring is available on Scoreboard.
