JONESBORO, Ark. (1/29/25) – Arkansas State athletics announced Wednesday that tickets for the 2025 Grand Slam Banquet featuring guest speaker Mike Matheny have sold out.
 
The 22nd edition of the event is set for Friday, Jan. 31, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Jonesboro. Spectators will have the opportunity to hear program updates from first-year head coach Mike Silva and meet the 2025 Red Wolves baseball team.
 
The VIP reception, which includes an autograph session with Matheny, live music, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Doors open for the general public 30 minutes later while dinner is slated for 6:30 p.m.
 
The Grand Slam program, emceed by “Voice of the Red Wolves” Matt Stolz, starts at 7:00 p.m. inside the Arvest Bank Ballroom. Matheny will be available for autographs after the event has concluded.
 
The Scarlet and Black open the 2025 campaign against Morehead State on Friday, February 14, at 3:00 p.m. on Slayton Family Field at Tomlinson Stadium.
